Though Final Fantasy XIV wasn't a super star in the latest game show - GamesCom 2010, Fianl Fantasy fans are still looking forward to it. And today, the offcial Twitter comfirmed that the Open Beta is launching in early September. This news inspired so many fans and made them get rid of the bad mood that FFXIV didn't win any award on GamesCom.

FFXIV has shown improvements in closed beta but that's not enough because most of the improvements are made on UI and graphic, the combat is still slow. Developer won't make too many changes on the combat speed for Open Beta, instead, they will change the placement of monsters and their aggro settings. In addition, players can start from one of the three cities.
